 US KIDS GOLF FOUNDATION LOCAL DENVER TOUR AND WORLD QUALIFIER @ PINEHURST, NC
 DENNIS MURRAY, PGA - TO DIRECT USKG DENVER LOCAL TOUR WITH HQ AT THE RIDGE
 TROON GOLF ANNOUNCES TROON FAMILY GOLF PROGRAM - Free Golf, Free Clubs for Kids
 
 
As the US Kids Golf Foundation's Denver Local Tour Director, and Director of Instruction for Troon Golf and
 
The Ridge at Castle Pines North, Dennis Murray and staff are continuing their ongoing efforts to grow the
 
game of golf through youngsters and their families with new programs allowing kids to play free. 
 
 
The new Troon Family Golf Program at The Ridge allows youngsters fifteen and under to play free golf when
 
accompanied by a paying adult, after 3:00 PM.   The Troon Family Golf Program also features the free use
 
of Callaway Golf Junior Clubs in complete sets for kids ages 5-8 and 9-12.  A limited number of right and left
 
handed boys and girls junior sets are available and can be reserved at no cost when making tee times. The
 
Ridge has added junior tee boxes to the front nine approximately 150 yards from the green.  Juniors playing
 
in the Troon Family Golf Program play from those tee boxes.  
 
 
Troon Golf and The Ridge intend to become leaders in growing the game of golf for both families and juniors,
 
in the golf industry as well as in the Denver area.  In addition to moving in that direction with the Troon Family
 
Golf Program, The Ridge is also the new headquarters for US Kids Golf Foundation's Denver Local Tour,
 
Directed by PGA Professional Dennis Murray, for Kids ages 6-14. 
 
 
Eight tournaments have been scheduled, with The Ridge hosting two of the events, including the Tour
 
Championship on Sunday, August 15, 2010.  The Denver Local Tour plays on June 7 @ Pradera, June 14
 
@ The Ridge, June 21 @ Perry Park, July 7 @ Highlands Ranch GC, July 12 @ Plum Creek, July 19 @
 
Deer Creek, and July 26 @ Lone Tree.  Tour Membership is $50 with entry fees $35 for 9-holes, $45 for 18.
 
 
A ninth event, the USKG World Championship Qualifier is scheduled for June 30 at Pinehurst CC in Denver.
 
Qualifiers will  have an opportunity to compete in the USKG World Championship at the famous Pinehurst

Academy and UNCOMPLICATED GOLF School are both open to the public.  The Ridge caters to golfers
